What is the WSITC About?

The Western Sydney IT Clusters is a not for profit organisation that aims to bring IT professionals together to collaborate on projects, share ideas and help build a strong network of professional service providers for the Western Sydney Region.

The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry plays a major role in Western Sydney businesses, councils and communities, and with the people of Western Sydney.

Skilled people are the most important component of the ICT industry as they provide the ideas, implementation, and support for the technologies delivered by the ICT industry. Australia is facing a widening gap between the demand for ICT skills and the supply of qualified ICT workers.

This applies to Western Sydney! We need more people with ICT skills to work in businesses, education, research, councils, government agencies, and community organisations throughout our region.
